The Cristalino Lodge is situated within a private reserve in the south of the Brazilian Amazon, beside the River Cristalino and surrounded by protected forests. The carefully designed architecture makes use of space in harmony with the nature around it.
Fall asleep to the gentle lapping of the river. Wake up to watch the sunrise, summoned by the calls of the howler monkeys. The sensation of being in the midst of a pristine Amazon forest reserve is emphasized by the harmonious architecture of the accommodations, where there is daily room service and turndown service.
To always keep the accommodations fresh, the structure is made of wood, with ceramic floors and a natural ventilation system using air vents in the ceiling. There are also large windows providing views of the surrounding forest. The use of solar energy, including water heating, and the treatment of biological waste illustrate our concern regarding environmental responsibility.
Every visitor contributes towards the preservation of the forest and the dissemination of sustainable practices in the region. The hotel also supports the Cristalino Foundation, an entity devoted to environmental education, human development, scientific research and the minimizing of environmental impact in the Cristalino region. Everything is geared towards sustainability through tourism, integrating the visitor into a virtuous cycle with nature.
