An excellent extension to your Cristalino Lodge visit would be the Araras Eco Lodge, in Mato Grosso. Built in the traditional style of a Pantanal farmhouse, it offers a variety of tours and photographic safaris. The Pantanal provides savannah landscapes with extensive flooded areas, where the rich biodiversity is very different to that of the Amazon.
