A home in the forest
Social Areas
The spaces of the Cristalino Wilderness Camp are born from the meeting of nature and human intention, created to welcome, enchant and connect people who are seeking meaningful experiences in the Amazon. Integrated into its surroundings, the architecture favors horizontal and circular forms, evoking harmony, coexistence and immersion in spaces filled with creative potential, where indoors and outdoors blend together. Designed for an intimate scale of up to 8 or 10 people, it preserves closeness and authenticity, fostering unhurried experiences at the gentle pace of nature. The social areas encourage authentic encounters, sensitive conversations and shared silences. It is a setting where comfort meets rustic, creating special moments where the superfluous gives way to what is most authentic.
THE ARCHITECTURE
With its light architecture integrated into the surroundings, the Social Tent is at the heart of the hospitality. The tensioned canvas draws arches over the wooden structure, creating a welcoming space full of movement. Screens and windows frame the river like living paintings, while the natural light follows the hours of the day. In the background, the sound of the cascades envelops the area and completes the experience of being deep in the forest.
The Social Tent accompanies the different moments of the day. The bar invites you to slow down at dusk, and the wine cellar, to share conversations and meals. In the open plan kitchen, food is prepared in front of the guests, while the dining room adapts to collective or intimate gatherings. The living room offers quiet reflective moments, and the veranda opens onto the river and the forest.
The bar offers classic and signature drinks, made with regional ingredients and offering Amazonian flavors, as well as specialty coffees.
The wine cellar brings together labels from South America and the Old World, selected to perfectly accompany the flavors and conversations.
Food is prepared in the Tent or at the moquém (grill) by the open fire, which provides a meeting point for conversation and inspiration.
The dining room is modular, adapting to guests in different settings, whether indoors or outdoors.
Books about the Amazon, comfortable armchairs and soft light create a refuge for peaceful reflection and intellectual relaxation.
The wooden veranda wraps around the Social Tent and invites connection with the outdoors, providing views of the river and the wildlife.
UNDER THE STARS
On starry nights, a dinner with the signature of chef Fabio Vieira is prepared on the moquém (grill), over the open fire, and served outdoors. Around the fire, stories are shared, time slows down and the connection with what is essential intensifies. Under the Amazonian sky, the aroma of firewood sharpens the senses and reconnects us to the earth. For families, it is a playful and welcoming space; for couples, a get away under the stars. And if the rain falls, dinner is prepared in the charcoal-fired oven and served in the cozy indoor space of the dining room.
TO SLOW DOWN
The deck opens onto the river and the cascades, where the dancing of the birds forms an ever-changing scene. In the morning, it receives the sun, dissipating the mist over the water and creating an ideal setting for birdwatching. Over the course of the day, it invites reading, rest or simply remaining in stillness, following the rhythm of the forest. For those who wish to refresh, a swim in the Cristalino waters offers a reinvigorating interlude.
The experience is built out of details: in the architecture, the care and the standards that bring people closer. Every element is welcoming and transforms the stay into a profoundly memorable experience. In the harmony between design and nature lies the true luxury of hospitality.
Suspended wooden walkways connect the Social Tent to the accommodations, offering pauses along the way to observe the forest.
Signature furniture combines design, comfort and functionality, with adapted natural materials that celebrate Brazilian culture.
The Cristalino team is present at the right moments, offering attention and care with kindness.
The limited number of guests creates an intimate atmosphere, like a home, creating places for encounters.
