CONCEPT
About an hour by boat from the Cristalino Lodge, the Cristalino Wilderness Camp offers the experience of accommodation in tents within the reserves preserved by the hotel. Guiding the guests through different areas of the Amazon rainforest, employing responsible tourism, the Camp amplifies the experience and contributes towards the environmental education, research and conservation initiatives conducted by the Cristalino Foundation.
THE TENTS
The tent accommodation offers an immersive experience in complete comfort, right in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Featuring architecture that is seamlessly integrated with nature, the tents boast Brazilian furniture, 600-thread-count sheets, climate-controlled interiors and a private bathtub. It is an iconic refuge, where the nights are wrapped in the sounds of the forest and each dawn invites you to discover more about one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems.
SOCIAL AREAS
The Camp's social areas open up to the river and the forest, creating environments for interaction, interludes and discovery. In the Social Tent, the lounge, dining area, bar and open plan kitchen are all integrated, while hospitality accompanies every moment of the day. The landscape design showcases the native flora and deepens the feeling of immersion within the forest, creating spaces to slow down, connect and live one’s Amazonian journey to the full.
CUISINE
The Camp's gastronomy places fire at its heart, with preparations on the moquém (grill) and in the charcoal oven that make the most of the traditional local ingredients. Meals celebrate the Amazonian flavors and are considered to be among the most memorable moments of the guest’s experiences at the Camp. The wine list, specialty coffees and treats harmonize with the cuisine, creating special moments of connection and sharing.

ACTIVITIES
Guests staying at the Camp can also enjoy the activities at the Cristalino Lodge, as well as exclusive trails and canoe rides in the area. There are more than 30 kilometers of trails that lead to points deep inside the forest, with access to the observation towers, boat trips and wildlife viewing opportunities, always accompanied by expert guides who enrich the Amazonian experience.
JOURNEYS THAT COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER
Combined with the Cristalino Lodge, the Cristalino Wilderness Camp expands the experience within the reserves, allowing guests to split their stay between the two locations and explore diverse landscapes. A roughly one-hour boat journey along the river connects the two locations, gliding past primary forest landscapes and leading guests to a sanctuary of cascades and breathtaking scenery.
